Mathias Vergels (°1992) who plays Gino, studied at the Kunsthumaniora, in Antwerp. North Sea Texas is his second big screen appearance after Bo by Hans Herbots where he played opposite Ella-June Henrard who plays his girlfriend Fran?oise in North Sea Texas.
